The project aimed to construct 70 km of the road in South Sudan, from Juba to Nimule, on the Ugandan border. The road was constructed through the existing unimproved road route with double coat sealing. The width of road section is 10 meters and consists of 1x2 lane and double shoulders. In addition to earthworks, base & sub-base layers, seal surfacing, culverts, and drainage structures, the project also includes demining, road signs, markings, posts and guardrails.
